... emphasis within (but not limited to) Darkwave, Gothic, Dark Ambient, Experimental Avant Garde & or improvised flow.... & many other genre's...

and other strong female vocalists with a unique style...
Some groups that fit the flow:
Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Mors Syphilitica, The Changelings, Faith & the Muse, Stoa, Ataraxia, Estraya, This Ascension, Jarboe (not so much ethereal... but extremely unique & strong vocalist) & many many others.
